Animal Science

In this course we will cover:

 

Introduction to Animal Science, nutrition, animal health, genetics, breeding and reproduction.  Management and marketing of animals and animal products. Small animals and International Ag.  Meats and meat processing.  Some detail study will be done in the species of cattle, sheep, swine, and horses. Careers in Animal Science.  Students will also  become involved with the National FFA Organization and SAE.
